Bob's Tip of the Month - NOVEMBER

LEAF PICKUP Removing those last leaves from your lawn are very important. You lose your best grasses under matted down leaves. The good grasses die out and you have clumps of less desirable grass left.
	SPRINKLER SYSTEMS If you have a in-ground lawn sprinkler system this is the time to schedule to winterize your system. Our service call to winterize is $55.00, if your system is not winterized the cost of repairing in 2012 will be far greater due to costly repairs. HOLIDAY LIGHTING Think about Christmas lights now so you are ready the day after Thanksgiving. Call us to decorate the exterior of your home with the excitement of the holiday season.
	MAKE IT YOUR OWN Did you know you could collect greens from your own yard to make holiday decor? Simply place a bow on some cuttings from Rhododendrons, English Holly, Spruce, and Pine and wire them together. You can even make a family fun night out of it.
GOOD TIME FOR TRIMMING The Winter season is an excellent time for trimming plants. The plants heal better and have time to form buds and flash out in the Spring.
